The truth of the matter is that good as well as bad performances are a chance to learn. Positive performance is often not evaluated as much as a negative performance. We are quick to question “what went wrong? Why did it go wrong? Find a solution!”
In the case of a good performance the same questions of “what” and “why” apply; the difference is that we are not looking for a solution but a way to make the performance consistent. “What can be repeated?”
That will be the process on Monday, but for today we will allow ourselves a satisfied smile, after all athletics is “supposed to be fun”.
