ABOUT JESS

Since 2000, Jessica’s progression through the junior and youth competitions showed that she was talent for the future. Jessica has fulfilled much of her immense promise as a multi-eventer and has now cemented herself into the history books as a World and Olympic Heptathlon Champion.

Jessica grew up in Sheffield, England where she attended Sharrow Primary School before moving onto King Ecgbert Secondary School. It was whilst attending secondary school that she first met her husband Andy Hill. Jessica now lives in Sheffield with Andy and their chocolate labrador Myla.

At a young age Jessica and her sister were introduced to athletics. In the school holidays they would attend local athletics camps. At the age of 13 Jessica had her first coaching session with Toni Minichiello. Shortly after she joined the City of Sheffield AC who she still represents today. Toni and Jessica continued to work together through her schooling and time at University.
