Toni Minichiello (Coach)
Toni has been coaching athletics since 1994. He first started coaching Jessica when she was 13 years old. Toni oversees all aspects of Jessica’s training and her race calendar.
Alison Rose (Physio) & Derry Sutar (Soft tissue therapist)
Both Alison and Derry have worked with Jess since 2007. They were instrumental in helping her recover from her foot injury in 2008 and maintain her body so she can perform at the highest level.
What you may not know is that Derry is responsible for the Union Jack carried by Jessica after she won gold at the Olympics. Nobody knew he had it in his bag the whole time!
Steve Ingham (Physiologist)
Steve Ingham is Head of Physiology for the English Institute of Sport. He helps Jessica work on her strengths and weaknesses, and work out how best to deliver peak performance at competitions.
Mick Hill (Javelin Coach)
Mick is a former javelin star himself. He and Jessica train every week, usually in Mick’s hometown of Leeds, or Sheffield. They used to train at Don Valley Stadium, in fact Mick was one of the first to compete in the stadium when it opened in the early 1990’s.
JCCM provides commercial management for athletes past and present. They manage Jessica’s commercial interests and can be seen cheering her on from the stands.
Dr. Paul Brice (Biomechanist)
Paul has worked in elite sport for nearly 11 years in applied biomechanics. He has provided targeted, biomechanical input into all of Jessica’s technical events since 2007.
